The Northern California Numismatic Association will hold its 5th Annual California Numismatic Seminar on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, 734 Marin at Capital, in downtown Vallejo, Calif.

Four speakers will offer their takes on this year’s theme, “Why Collect These?”

Dr. David S. Goya is a coin scholar and activist.

Scott E. Douglas is a Canadian coin advocate and researcher.

Scott D. “Si” Griffin is a northern California coin dealer and show promoter.

William E. Hyder is an exonumist, that branch of the numismatic hobby that specializes in tokens and medals.

Admission is free. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the program opening at 9:30 a.m.

The all-day seminar will offer door prizes, an onsite luncheon service and free admission to the museum.
