More than 1,600 lots of U.S. coins and paper money will be up for sale in the firm

More than 1,600 lots of U.S. coins and paper money will be up for sale in the firm’s third auction of 2005, entitled “The Collectors’ Auction 2005.”

The event is scheduled for Oct. 20-21. It will be held in conjunction with the Silver Dollar and Rare Coin Expo at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Louis, Mo.

A breakdown of the lots shows that there will 164 currency lots, 476 silver dollar lots, nine pattern coin lots and 148 lots consisting of double eagles, both Coronet and Saint-Gaudens types.

A 1916 Standing Liberty quarter, graded MS-62 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp., is one of the highlights, along with an 1894/1894 Indian Head cent, graded NGC MS-64, and an 1856 Flying Eagle cent, graded Proof-62 by the cataloger.
