Robinson gives Adams dollars at Baltimore
The first 100 children to stop by to see former Baltimore Orioles third baseman Brooks Robinson at 3 p.m. June 29 during the Whitman Baltimore Coin and Collectibles Convention will get a free John Adams Presidential dollar.

The sports commentator will be on hand at the Baltimore Convention Center, site of the three-day show, June 29-July 1, for two hours until 5 p.m. June 29 to pose with attendees for free digital photos. He will also autograph free commemorative souvenir cards for the public.
Now in the Baseball Hall of Fame, Robinson retired from the Major Leagues in 1977 after 20 years.
On Saturday, June 30, children 12 and under will be offered a free handful of money starting at noon and at various times throughout the afternoon until the final one at 6 p.m.
Other events at the show include a 9 a.m. June 29 meeting of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club, an 11 a.m. June 30 meeting of the Maryland Token and Medal Society and a 1 p.m. June 30 meeting of the Early American Coppers Club.
An official auction will be conducted by Bowers and Merena Auctions June 28-29.
Presidential Coins and Antiques will hold an auction June 30.
