It is the first of five designs to be produced as part of the America the Beautiful series quarter series in 2011.

The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. The guest list is not yet revealed, but the ceremony will follow the usual agenda, which includes giving free examples to kids 18 and under and selling rolls of the coins for face value to adults after the ceremony ends.

On the day before, the Mint will host a coin forum where the public can ask questions and share opinions about coinage matters. This will be at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 at the Ford Motor Company Fund Education Center at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center.
