The Quad City Coin Club of Illinois announced that it has moved the date of its Annual Spring Coin Show to April 11 next year to avoid conflict with the Easter holiday. It will be held in Milan, Ill.
The show will feature 80 tables offering U.S. and foreign coins, paper money, gold, silver and coin supplies.
Children will have the opportunity to select coins from a world treasure chest, and other numismatic items will be available at the door.
A youth coin auction is set for 1:30 p.m. Each participant will receive play money to bid on lots donated by club members and dealers.
The club will hold a gold Eagle raffle drawing, and door prizes will be given away every hour.
Quad City members will be on hand to help identify coins and paper money, and to answer questions about the club and coin collecting in general.
The show will run 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Milan Community Center. Admission is free.
