PCGS names set winners
Professional Coin Grading Service has announced the 2011 award winners for best sets in the PCGS Set RegistrySM. Many of the winners attended the PCGS Set Registry luncheon on Aug. 18 during the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Rosemont, Ill.
“Every year since its inception in 2001, the PCGS Set Registry has seen an increase in not only registered sets (now over 58,000) but also in completed sets,” said BJ Searls, Set Registry manager.
“What this year’s winners have accomplished is definitely worthy of high praise,” said David Hall, PCGS co-founder and president of Collectors Universe, Inc.
