The online MSN group “U.S. Coin Collecting” has produced its first limited edition club medal for members. Mintage is set at 65 pieces.
It was designed by David Virbick with the help of medal committee members. The 1 ounce medal is made of .999 pure silver proof-like metal.
It costs $21 by cash, check or money order. A medal purchased online via PayPal is $22. Prices include shipping and handling.
Membership in the group is free and open to the public. It offers photo hosting, forums and live chat.
Because MSN is closing its groups section in February, the club is relocating to a new home at http://uscoin.ning.com.
