Sculptor Robert Graham died Dec. 27, 2008, at the age of 70.
Numismatists may recall that he designed the obverse of the 1984 U.S. Olympic silver dollar, which in turn was based on his own sculpture at the entrance to the Olympic stadium. He also designed the National Medal of Arts.
He is survived by his wife, actress Anjelica Huston.
