More than 175 individuals attended the Ocean County Coin Club?s annual mini-show April 17 in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.
?The show was only a three-hour event that we hold every year at this time in recognition of National Coin Week,? said Jim Majoros, club president.
It is held in addition to the club?s full-day show in September, Majoros said.
?I was amazed at seeing this many at our show? said Dennis Berube, bourse director. ?Fifteen dealers were available to assist the visitors with buying, selling and/or trading coins, paper money and medals.?
The club?s Juniors displayed nine cases of exhibits and received a U.S. Mint proof set for their hard work. Juniors also had the opportunity to participate in the club?s treasure hunt for prizes.
