Will the Mint chalk up its fourth sellout in a row with the 2010 Grand Canyon uncirculated collector 5-ounce silver coin?
Word from the Mint was that after less than a week, 19,300 out of a possible 27,000 available have already been snapped up by collectors.
Sales began June 29.
Price is the same $279.95 that has prevailed since the first one, the Hot Springs design,
went on sale in late April.
It is the fourth of five designs that will bear the 2010 date.
The fifth design, which honors the Mount Hood National Forest, will go on sale July 28. Price for that issue has not yet been established, but perhaps collectors will be treated to a clean sweep of the full set for $279.95 each if the price of silver bullion behaves.
