In 1894, only 24 dimes were struck at the San Francisco Mint. That makes them the lowest regular-issue business strike for a U.S. Mint.

Now, the story of the coins is detailed in a book entitled The 1894-S Dime, A Mystery Unraveled by Kevin Flynn.

A detailed study of the history of the coins, the book comes in softcover ($32.95) and hardcover ($90). To reserve a copy, send check or money order to: Kevin Flynn, P.O. Box 538, Rancocas, N.J. or e-mail kevinj50@comcast.net. Add $5 for shipping and handling.
