U.S. Mint Director Edmund C. Moy was to get a sneak peek Nov. 2 of a new American Numismatic Association exhibit that was to go on display to the public Nov. 9 at its museum.
Moy paid a visit to ANA to get acquainted with the headquarters of the national education association and talk to its executive director, Christopher Cipoletti.
The bonus was the virtual readiness of the new exhibit called ?The Die is Cast: Money of the Ancient World,? featuring coins dating back to 7th century B.C. Asia Minor and stretching to the last of the Roman issues in 476 A.D.
The exhibit will be available free to the public until September 2007 during normal business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The museum is at 818 Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.
