Silver American Eagle bullion coins will be put back on sale by the U.S. Mint on July 27, 20 days after the July 7 notice was sent saying that it had run out of the coins.
The Mint’s rationing system, called allocation, will also go back into effect. Previously, these sales restrictions t had been lifted June 1.
Only the Mint’s Authorized Purchasers may buy bullion coins directly from the Mint. They in turn sell the coins to the wider investor and numismatic market outlets.
