The Mint’s website got a new look in mid December. Its new gold logo appears on the site against a dominant black background color.
Underlying functionality of the website has not changed, though the Mint says it will be making the investment necessary to continue the improvement of its Internet site.
The new look is part of the ongoing effort to present a consistent branded image.
This look is part of its overarching effort in “Connecting America through Coins.”
It took a six-month effort to modify over 3,000 web pages involving over 18,000 files.
