Calling it “the first time in at least a decade that a majority of its annual core products will be offered this early in the year,” the Mint says it is doing this in response to its collector base.

“We’ve listened to our customers and their desire to have these annual sets earlier in the year,” explained Mint Director Ed Moy.

What other products might be offered in January were not enumerated, but the three sets mentioned are popular gift items for birthdays and anniversaries and Moy said putting them on sale in January is a “demonstration of our commitment” to their buyers.
