Madison, Ala., will celebrate its 150th anniversary with an exhibit, titled

Madison, Ala., will celebrate its 150th anniversary with an exhibit, titled ?150 Years of the Types of Money Used in Madison (1857-2007),? at the City of Madison Library.

The exhibit includes a collection of type coins showing the major designs and denominations produced by the U.S. Mint over the last century and a half. The exhibit also displays the major types of paper money used. In addition, there are books relating to the area.

Creator of the exhibit is Richard Jozefiak of the Madison County Coin Club.

He will give a presentation on the same topic at the MCCC?s monthly meeting to be held April 23. The meeting will be held at the Thomas W. Davidson Sr. Senior Center, 2200 Drake Ave. SW, Huntsville, Ala. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Ceramics Room.
