Liberty Coin opens second store

Heller, Cynthia Eiseler, director of membership development for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, and several Chamber members were on hand for the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting.

Liberty Coin Service celebrated the grand opening of its larger second store in Lansing, Mich., April 2.

Owner Patrick A. Heller, Cynthia Eiseler, director of membership development for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, and several Chamber members were on hand for the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting.

Although April 2 marked the second store’s grand opening, it has been open for business since Feb. 27. Staff reported that on grand opening day, purchases were at the highest daily volume since the store’s actual opening.

“When you take great care of your customers, your business keeps growing,” said Heller. “We expanded to a second store in Frandor [Shopping Center] in 2008 to serve customers looking to sell merchandise. Since then, our volume has nearly doubled. When the landlord offered us this beautiful, larger location right in the middle of Frandor, we jumped at the opportunity. Now we can help customers who are selling merchandise and people looking to buy or sell foreign currency exchange. As always, our original location handles all products and services.”

While supplies last, adults who visit the new store will receive one free genuine 2008 Zimbabwe $100 trillion note.

Liberty Coin Service was established in 1971. It is Michigan’s largest rare coins and precious metals bullion dealership.

Heller also owns Premier Coins & Collectibles on Lansing’s west side.
