Let’s Work Together

Well here I am once more at the World Money Fair in Berlin, Germany, enjoying the company of the many friends I have made in the business of minting the world’s new coinage. Already I have enjoyed time with folks from the Royal Canadian Mint and MDM, both firms who produce and distribute many, many coins types every year. Interestingly enough, in our separate conversations it became clear that these two companies had something very much in common. A set of limited mintage gold coins produced by the RCM, who will distribute the set in Canada and MDM who will be selling these sets to their customers in Europe. It’s a great reminder that good things happen when we work together in numismatics, and in the case of the new issues market, many, if not all, of the worlds minting authorities are always working together producing interesting and beautiful coins.
