The purchase and donation was assisted by a subsidy program sponsored by the Central States Numismatic Society to which the club belongs.

A donation committee chaired by club secretary/treasurer Dan McDowell developed a preliminary wish list of books. They were purchased from Northern Illinois Coin & Stamp at the Illinois Numismatic Association’s 53rd Coin and Currency Show in Tinley Park, Ill.
