INA show boasts bourse, seminars

The Iowa Numismatic Association will hold its 72nd annual convention and coin show Oct. 10-11 at Adventureland Inn in Altoona, Iowa. The Des Moines Coin Club is host.

Dealers will fill more than 60 tables of coins, currency, supplies and other numismatic items.

Seminars will be conducted by newly elected American Numismatic Association President Cliff Mishler and professional numismatist Ron Lashmit.

The INA board will hold a meeting Oct. 10, and INA members are invited to a breakfast Oct. 11 for $20 per person, which will be followed by an open meeting.

Show hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 11.

The largest bourse and best numismatic inventory in American Numismatic Association history await attendees of the Chicago World’s Fair of Money Aug. 16-20. The show, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., will also feature educational programs, exhibits and a collection of numismatic rarities. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Admission is free for ANA members and $6 for non-members. Children age 12 and under are admitted free.
