Four six-figure lots helped Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers realize nearly $10 million in its last Signature Auction.
The sale was held Dec. 13-14, along with an online session Dec. 19. The total includes the 15 percent buyer?s premium.
Topping the sale was a 1930-S $20, graded MS-66 by Professional Coin Grading Service, that fetched $253,000. Next highest was a 1911 $20, graded Proof-68 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp., brought in $172,500, followed by a 1931-D $20 in PCGS MS-65 grade ($126,500) and a 1927-S $20 in NGC MS-66 condition ($115,000).
