Denver turned out 55,160,000 coins honoring the ninth President while Philadelphia cranked out 43,260,000 for a total of 98,420,000, down marginally from the 102,480,000 Martin Van Buren dollars.

The George Washington dollar holds the record combined total of 340,360,000 pieces.

Four designs are struck each year and mintages have been generally falling with the exception of a brief uptick for the Andrew Jackson dollar.
