American Numismatic Association Vice President Tom Hallenbeck wants to kick it up a notch next year when he will seek the presidency in the organization’s 2011 election.
Having served two two-year terms as governor and a term as vice president, Hallenbeck says that he is “energized about the overall strength and vitality of the ANA and the current direction of the world’s largest coin club.”
For the future, Hallenbeck says, “The coin hobby is continuing to change and we need to change with the collectors.”
He says he would like to see an expanded online presence and Web-based education at the ANA Web site: www.money.org.
“We need to be the hobby leader,” he declares.
