The Garden State Numismatic Association will be conduct its 36th Anniversary Convention May 12-14 at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Somerset, N.J.
There will be 70 tables of dealers who will buy, sell, trade and advise about coins, paper money and tokens. A numismatic book and supply dealer will be available, and a representative of the U.S. Mint will be on hand on Saturday for information.
An auction conducted by New World Rarities will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday. Club meetings and a junior numismatist program are scheduled for Saturday.
“We look forward to getting individuals from around the state as well as out of state to convene and meet with each other as well as giving the opportunity to others and introduce them to this great educational hobby, said Dave Bailey, GSNA president. “With the increases in gold and silver prices this past year, we expect many visitors to price some of their holdings as many of the dealers will be available to make offers on their gold and silver.”
Convention hours are 1-7 p.m. on Thursday, 10a.m.-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. Parking is free.
