Four to present PNG seminars

Don Kagin and Gary Adkins will speak at the next two Professional Numismatists Guild Share the Knowledge educational seminars slated for Aug. 1-2 at the American Numismatic Association World?s Fair of Money in Baltimore.

Three weeks later Q. David Bowers and Mary Counts will team up for the next seminar, which will be held Aug. 22 at the Whitman Coin and Collectibles Atlanta Expo.

Kagin, who has a Ph.D. in numismatics and is a dealer based in Tiburon, Calif., will discuss ?Pioneer Gold Pattern Coinage? at 11 a.m. Aug. 1, in room 319 of the Baltimore Convention Center.

Adkins of Edina, Minn., is president of PNG. His program is titled, ?Collectors are from Venus, Dealers are from Mars!? It is scheduled for noon, Aug. 2 also in Room 319.

Bowers, a former PNG president, is co-chairman of Stack?s of New York City and Wolfeboro, N.H. Counts is president of Whitman Publishing Co. Their joint program is called, ?Behind the Scenes at Whitman Publishing: How It All Happens.? It will be held at noon, Aug. 22, at the Atlanta Expo in Room 109 of the Cobb Galleria Centre.
