First 2006 sale for Scotsman

There will be 1,268 lots, including a 1934 $10,000 small-size Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago District.

The spotlight will be on National bank notes at Scotsman Auction Co.?s first public sale of 2006.

Scheduled for 5 p.m. Central time on Feb. 17, the auction will take place at the St. Louis Airport Marriott, 10700 Pear Tree Lane in St. Louis, Mo.

There will be 1,268 lots, including a 1934 $10,000 small-size Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago District. The specimen is graded CHCU-63 by Paper Money Guaranty. Another highlight is a 1915-S $50 Panama Pacific round gold commemorative, graded MS-61 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp.
