A set of two elongated Lincoln cents has been created by the California Association of Token Collectors to commemorate its establishment in 1957. One cent is dated 1957 and the other is dated 2008. Both are uncirculated.
Unusual for an elongated, the club puts a face value on each coin of 51 cents for the number of years the club has operated. Nonmembers can buy the set for $6 each postpaid.
A seven-piece anniversary set that adds elongated nickel, dime, state quarter, half dollar and Presidential dollar is priced at $25 postpaid. Designs on the quarter and dollar were not specified.
Orders should be sent to CATC, P.O. Box 66331, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
Persons who would like to join the club may do so by sending $5 for annual dues. Six meetings are held each year in Southern California. The club publishes a newsletter six times each year called Token Topics.
