The Glendale, Calif, Coin Club has issued a custom designed elongated coin set in honor of its 50th anniversary. The club celebrated the milestone during its March 13 meeting.
The design was created by Oded Paz, club president. It was engraved and rolled by Brad Ream of Rockville, Ind.
One-hundred of the pieces were rolled on 1959 cents, and another 100 were rolled on other copper cents.
A special edition of 20 sets was created on all available U.S. coins. The set includes the 1959 and another cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and Presidential dollar. All but the 1959 cent show the reverse side of the coin.
The two-cent set option is available for $2.50 postpaid, and the special edition coin set is available for $20 postpaid while supplies last.
