Elongated group donates to aid Sandy storm victims

Once again The Elongated Collectors (TEC) have stepped forward to provide aid to those affected by a tragedy.

After a short emailed discussion, TEC’s board unanimously voted to make a $250 donation to the American Red Cross, dedicated to help in the relief efforts to those devastated by super-storm Sandy.

TEC President Oded Paz stated that “this has been an ongoing tradition with TEC – we have previously made substantial donations for those affected by Hurricane Katrina, and most recently the earthquake disaster in Haiti.”

By making this donation, TEC’s board encourages other members of the numismatic family, whether coin clubs, numismatic businesses and collectors to join them in assisting those in need after such a terrible storm.
