A Dolley Madison re-enactor was an historical highlight Dec. 19 at the introduction of the designs of the four new 2007 First Spouse gold coins at the National First Ladies Library in Canton, Ohio.
Lucinda Frailly played the plucky First Lady who saved the Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington just before the British burned the White House in 1814.
Frailly joined Mint Director Edmund C. Moy and Mary Regula, founder of the library. The first of the new coins featuring Martha Washington will go on sale in May 2007.
