The tentative release of the Abigail Fillmore half-ounce gold First Spouse coin has been pushed back from a previously posted March 4 date to a new and unspecified date some time in the month of March, the Mint says.
The Fillmore First Spouse coin is a companion piece to the just released Millard Fillmore dollar. It will be the 13th coin in the series and the first of four to be released in 2010.
It will be struck in .9999 fine gold and have a legal tender value of $10.
A bronze medal version of the coin design will also be released some time during March, the Mint says.
