Decisions due for four states’ quarters

It?s decision time for four states with quarters coming out in the next two years.

For the 2008 Alaska quarter, all narrative design concepts were supposed to be turned in to the Alaska Commemorative Coin Commission on April 30.

The commission was scheduled to meet May 4 to decide on five final design narratives.

April 30 was also the narrative deadline for the 2008 Hawaii quarter. The Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is charged with deciding on five final themes. March 31 was the final day for Oklahomans to submit written essays describing designs they wanted for the state?s 2008 quarter. So far, no final design narratives have been made public. May 8 is the date voting ended for Utah residents picking their favorite designs for Utah?s 2007 state quarter.
