Activity at the Tennessee State Numismatic Society’s annual spring coin show, held March 4-6 at Camp Jordan Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn., was non-stop, according to organizers.

The show was attended by more than 200 dealers and a record number of Early Birds participants.

One dealer said that it was the best coin show he had ever had, organizers reported. Another said it was one the of the best TSNS shows he had ever had. The club welcomed new dealers from New York and Nebraska at this show.

Gayle Pike, bourse chairman, said she was sad to tell dealers there were no more tables available. However, a slight rearrangement of the bourse floor for the fall show will allow for more dealers to obtain tables, Pike said.

Carrie Best was awarded Best of Show in the exhibit competition. She was awarded a piece of Fostoria coin glass on an engraved wood base.

The fall TSNS show will be held Nov. 4-6 at the same location. See website www.tsns.org for bourse, exhibit and general show information.
