Cupertino club has 2007 medals

The Cupertino Coin Club of Cupertino, Calif., has its 2007 club medals available for purchase.

The Cupertino Coin Club of Cupertino, Calif., has its 2007 club medals available for purchase in four different metals.

A copper medal is awarded free for every 10 bronze medals ordered. Cost is $18 for a .999 silver medal, with a mintage of 80; $4 (or two for $7) of the golden bronze and antique bronze, each with a mintage of 325.

The medal pictures a conquistador on the obverse and a flower on the reverse.

There is also a $3 postage charge for mailing. Checks should be made payable to the Cupertino Coin Club and mailed to Attn: Medals Chairman, P.O. Box 448, Cupertino, CA 95015-0448.

The club also operates a Web site at www.cupertinocoinclub.com.

The club will also hold its 22nd annual banquet at the Blue Pheasant Restaurant on Sunday, Oct. 22. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6. Reservations are due by Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Regular club meetings are held at 7:45 p.m. on the second Friday of each month at the West Valley Presbyterian Church, 6191 Bollinger Ave., Cupertino, Calif.
