Central States Numismatic Society’s 71st Anniversary Convention, to be held April 26-May 2 at Milwaukee’s Midwest Airlines Center and the Milwaukee Hilton City Center, has named AirTran Airways as its official air carrier.

“We selected AirTran because of the fact that much of their service to Milwaukee is via full size, rather than commuter aircraft, offering our attendees greater overhead luggage rack storage space for their valuables,” said Kevin Foley, convention general chairman. “This is an especially important consideration for our out-of-town booth holders, as it enables them to bring more of their inventory to our event without resorting to the expense of outside transport agencies.”

CSNS attendees can obtain a 10 percent discount off the fare they would otherwise be eligible for by booking their reservations directly through the AirTran Event Savers Desk. Call (866) 683-8368 and mention rate code “MKE042510” to qualify for the discount. Attendees will also be able to change their reservation once without fee.

Jerry Lebo is bourse chairman for the convention. Dealers interested in having a booth in the 250-plus booth bourse area should call him at (574) 753-2489, or can contact him via e-mail at jclebo@verizon.net.

Rooms are available at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center for $137 by calling (414) 271-7250 and mentioning rate code “CSNS.”

Additional information about the CSNS convention is available on the organization’s Web site, www.centralstates.info.
