CSNS Convention exhibitors honored

Steven D’Ipollito won Best in Show for his exhibit at the Central States Numismatic Society Convention held April 29-May 2 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Steven D’Ipollito won Best in Show for his exhibit at the Central States Numismatic Society Convention held April 29-May 2 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. There were 63 exhibits in all.

Fran Lockwood, exhibit chairman, presented him with the award during the CSNS awards breakfast May 2. D’Ipollito’s exhibit was “Russian Coins of Conquest.”

The People’s Choice Award went to Allen James for “Standing Liberty Quarters.” The John Jay Pittman Award for most educational exhibit went to Sandy Martin for “Queen Elizabeth ‘Photos on Currency’.”
James Zylstra was presented the Joseph and Morton Stack Award for the best exhibit by a first time CSNS exhibitor. His exhibit was titled “Traditional Money of Nigeria.”
