Colored wood marks 40th anniversary

The Great River Regional Coin Club of Sartell, Minn., has made available it’s annual wooden nickel, this year marking its 40th anniversary.

The Great River Regional Coin Club of Sartell, Minn., has made available it’s annual wooden nickel, this year marking its 40th anniversary.

The colorized wood’s obverse bears the name of the club and years of its existence. It features the Buffalo nickel design in the center. The reverse reads “40th Anniversary” and depicts a wreath.

It is available to the public for $1 each.

The club is also selling wooden nickels from past years that aren’t yet sold out. They are available for 40 cents each or five for $2.

To order, send payment made to Great River Regional Coin Club, a self-addressed, legal-size stamped envelope and sufficient postage to cover a padded insert to P.O. Box 122, Sartell, MN 56377.
