Paying tribute to famous blockbuster movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day, coin dealer Downies released a three-coin box set to coincide with Skynet launching a nuclear attack on the world on April 11, 2011, as depicted in the movie.
These legal-tender collector coins, issued on behalf of Cook Islands, showcase three key scenes from Terminator 2 and are housed in a box styled after the CPU chip depicted in the movie.
On the obverse of each coin is Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II.
