After welcoming more exhibitors to its bourse floor in 2010 than the year before, the Chicago International Coin Fair will feature even more table-holders at its 2011 show, set for April 14-17 at the Crowne Plaza O’Hare.
“We are excited to welcome back so many of our long-time supporters and add to them a number of exciting new exhibitors,” said CICF chairman Scott Tappa. “The CICF bourse promises to be hopping with world coin buying and selling.”
At press time, one table remained available on the CICF bourse. For more information, contact Tappa at scott.tappa@fwmedia.com, or (800) 726-9966, ext. 13428.
In other CICF news, Cristiano Bierrenbach, vice president of international numismatics at Heritage Auction Galleries, has confirmed that Heritage will be holding a three-session CICF auction. While Heritage continues to assemble auction materials, Bierrenbach says the sale will feature the Dana Roberts collection of Latin American coins and several high-value Chinese coins.
Of particular note, Heritage will hold a joint venture auction with Gemini Auctions for ancient coins on Thursday, April 14, at 6 p.m. Bierrenbach estimates this auction will contain around 500 lots and have its own stand-alone catalog.
