The CCAC will also review designs for the 2007 Jamestown 400th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program. The Commission of Fine Arts will also take up the Jamestown commemorative program at its Jan. 19 meeting.

The two-coin program will feature a gold $5 coin, with a maximum mintage of 100,000 coins, and a silver dollar, with a maximum mintage of 500,000 pieces.

The Jamestown commemoratives are scheduled to be launched in early 2007. Surcharges of $35 for each gold coin and $10 for each silver dollar will go to fund a national observance of the Jamestown anniversary.

The CCAC meeting will take place at the United States Mint, starting at 9:30 a.m.
