‘CC’ event set for Los Angeles

The Carson City Coin Collectors of America is sponsoring a special educational symposium on the Carson City Mint during the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Carson City Coin Collectors of America is sponsoring a special educational symposium on the Carson City Mint during the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Los Angeles, Calif.

The symposium is set to take place in conjunction with the club’s annual meeting, 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 in Room 512 of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Scheduled speakers are Bill Bugert on “Diagnostics for 1875-CC Half Dollar Die Marriages,” Darrell Low on “An Overview of Liberty Seated Coins from the Carson City Mint,” John McCloskey on “An Introduction to Gold Half Eagles from the Carson City Mint,” and Rusty Goe on “Harold M. Budd – Ambassador of ‘CC’ Coinage in First Half of 20th Century.”
