The Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club Inc. announced Jan. 3 the appointment of Dave and Debbie Harber as its new convention co-chairs. The Harbers will serve as co-chairs for the group’s 19th annual convention slated for June 23-25.
They are experienced business owners who have been active participants in a variety of areas in the casino memorabilia hobby, the club said.
“I am pleased to announce that Dave and Debbie Harber have accepted the position of convention co-chairs for the 2011 convention at the SouthPoint [hotel and casino],” said Jim Steffner, CC>CC president in a club statement. “They have some great new ideas and plans up their sleeves, so watch for announcements as they occur.
“Join me in wishing them all the success they deserve and provide any help they may need. We can all work together to make our club a great success.”
The convention is open to the public June 23-25, but there is an admission fee on Thursday and Friday. Saturday admission will be free.
The Southpoint Hotel, Casino and Spa is located at 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Las Vegas.
