The Casino Chip & Token News, the quarterly publication of The Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc., has been awarded the second place Outstanding Specialty Numismatic Publication Award by the American Numismatic Association for 2010.
Its editor is Todd Barrett. Assistant editors are Ken Kleber and Carl Kogut.
“I am honored that the ANA has recognized the casino chip news and token magazine with this award,” said Barrett. “The club members’ participation in the magazine is a big part of our success. I look forward to continuing on the great success the magazine has had in the past. It is a joy to work with the club members who supply great articles and features each quarter. They are what makes the Casino Chip & Token News magazine what it is.”
The award is based on general appearance, newsiness, composition, aptness of illustrations and relative interest. Publications must have been issued on a regular basis: monthly, quarterly or otherwise.
