The Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge quarter was publicly introduced Sept. 18 at a ceremony in Smyrna, Del.
“I’m uniquely excited about this launch because we are making these Bombay Hook quarters 67 miles north of here at our plant in Philadelphia,” said Philadelphia Mint Plant Manager Marc Landry.
Local school-aged children attended the ceremony at the wildlife refuge’s visitor center.
