Bob Feller, HOF pitcher dies at 92

Today I read that HOF pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, Bob Feller has died at the age of 92. That is a great run.

Of the many baseball autograph items that my dad collected as a teenager at Yankee Stadium or at the NY Hotel lobbies where the visiting teams stayed at, one of his prizes was that of a color magazine image autographed with a bold Bob Feller. I'd hear the story often of the high speed fastballs.

When I've driven out to Colorado Springs and the ANA summer seminar, passing thru Iowa I pass a sign on I-80 for the Bob Feller Museum. Perhaps next time I'll have to stop.
