Black-eyed Grant
Numismatic News reader Richard Stachowski sent in a 2011-P Ulysses S. Grant dollar that presents us with what appears to be perhaps a good-sized die break or maybe die clash marks below Grant’s right eye.

My best guess at this point is that it is a bi-level (or maybe even tri-level) die break with the lower level of the break below the eyeball to the southwest,
which then develops into a deeper die break as it moves east to the inside corner of Grant’s eye.
Of course, the deeper the break is on the die, the higher it will be on the coin. There could be more breakage that I just cannot be sure about.
I have asked for an example to be sent to me and will expound upon it further when it arrives and I have had a chance to examine it.
