Shipwrecks, pirates and sunken treasure will be among the highlights of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Baltimore Expo Nov. 4-7, Expo General Manager David Crenshaw says.

These topics will be explored in a special presentation by Odyssey Marine Exploration on Friday, Nov. 5, at 11:30 a.m.

Dealers will also be given free passes Nov. 5 to the “Shipwreck! Pirates and Treasure” multi-media exhibit at the Maryland Science Center on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Other highlights of the show will be the Bowers and Merena auction and an exhibit marking the 10th anniversary of the Sacagawea dollar. On display will be Glenna Goodacre’s original “Terra-Cotta Coin Study,” a preliminary bas-relief that dates to 1999, Crenshaw says.

There will be a pre-show auction by Stack’s.
