The Badger Mint, a private art token manufacturer run by George Cuhaj and Joe Paonessa, has two new tokens available for sale.

The first piece was struck for the 2009 Great Lakes Centennial Jamboree, a statewide weekend Boy Scout gathering. It was hosted by the Bay Lakes Council – Boy Scouts of America Sept. 26-27 in Oshkosh, Wis.

The second is a 2009 Halloween token. The obverse features a jack-o’-lantern image with “Halloween” above and “Iola, Wis.” below. The reverse bears the saying, “Follow Your Bliss” with “2009” below. Cuhaj says he will distribute these tokens in Iola during Halloween festivities.

Both tokens are made of pewter and were broad stuck on a screw press at about 22-23 mm.

The pair is available to Numismatic News readers for $5 postpaid to U.S. addresses.

Place orders by writing Badger Mint, P.O. Box 2, Iola, WI 54945.
