The personal numismatic treasures of Catherine Bullowa will go on the auction block Dec. 4 at what she calls her firm’s last auction.

The Philadelphia dealer who does business under the Coinhunter name said, “I’m not going out of business.” She stressed that she simply is giving up auctions.

By special request, Ron Guth will be the auctioneer, she said.

The sale will feature approximately 500 lots, including 35 personal lots.

“I’m hoping to pass them on to some other collectors or dealers who will enjoy them as much as I have,” she said.

The sale will feature some U.S. and world material, slabbed and unslabbed. She said her personal lots will be “all natural (unslabbed).”

The sale will be held at the Warwick Hotel on 17th St. in Philadelphia. “People should try to make their reservations early.” The Army-Navy game is that weekend, she said. Catalogs are free. The firm may be reached at 1616 Walnut St., Philadephia, PA 19103-5364. Telephone (215) 735-5517.
