The American Numismatic Association plans to launch an interactive numismatic career service, the ANA Job Board, starting April 1.
ANA Job Board is intended to offer ANA members ? and the numismatic community at large ? an easy-to-use, targeted resource for online employment connections in numismatics.
?We?re very excited about ANA Job Board, because we know how critical it is for employers in the numismatics industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,? said Jay Beeton, ANA deputy executive director of marketing and communications. ?And it?s important for us to help enable smooth career transitions for those seeking jobs in the numismatic community.?
ANA members and non-member companies will be able to use the ANA Job Board. Employers can post jobs online, search for candidates based on specific criteria and create an online resume agent to e-mail candidates daily. They also receive online reporting that provides posting activity statistics.
For job seekers, ANA Job Board is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the numismatics industry. In addition to posting resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on various criteria and save select jobs for later review. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide e-mail notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
ANA is offering discounts on job postings in an introductory period. From now through June 30, employers can post jobs and receive a 25 percent discount off the regular posting price.
